The new built-in microwave oven from Electrolux ICON features convection cooking, sensor cooking and automatic mix cooking. In convection cooking, hot air is circulated throughout the oven cavity to brown and crisp foods evenly. The oven can be programmed for ten convection cooking temperatures for up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
With sensor cooking, moisture and humidity are detected, which adjusts the cooking time and power level for various foods and quantities. Pre-programmed settings for automatic mix cooking make it easy to cook with both convection heat and microwave automatically.

We recently purchased this microwave as part of a kitchen remodel. Overall I am happy with how it works so far tho I haven't used all the features yet. The one negative I noticed is with the user interface: the number buttons are squished at the bottom of the panel and I find that I have to press a button several times before it "registers." I also wish the writing stood out a little better against the black as it is in a small font size.

Bought this product in 2009, it died within 2 years, a unique experience as I have never heard of a microwave dying in 2 years. Electrolux offers 1 year warranty, for this product. Heating is inadequate. Convection oven of the microwave is something that is rarely used as the fan takes a long time to cool the unit after it is used.

Since we cook a lot, we thought the microwave convection oven would be the perfect helper. We bought the Electrolux Icon and it has worked out beautifully since. I roast vegetables in it with an automatic sensor. I've cooked meat, chicken, and fish and they all come out juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked.
I would have preferred it to have more of a stainless steel look, but only the built-in kit is stainless steel. The microwave alone is just black.
The other thing that could make this microwave even better is if it had quick buttons for 1-minute, 2-minutes, 3-minutes etc heat up. You have to press 1 + 0 + 0 for one minute heat up.
