We purchased this for three reasons - self cleaning oven, glass surface below cooktop (again - easy to clean), and the sliding racks. We looked at the other high output BTU ranges (Wolf, Viking, etc) and after discussing w/ our neighbor chef concluded that, for residential use (unless you're boiling pots of potatoes all the time), this range will perform perfectly well. What stood out to us is the attention to detail - the cleanability, the sliding racks, even some of the added accessories are nice. Our only criticism is that the racks move too easily - you need to get used to them (they'll run away from you if you aren't careful).

It looks great; does exactly what it's told. Oh, sorry, I was talking about my husband. No, no, just kidding. I enjoy this range so much. It's hot when you need it to be hot and simmers perfectly. Cooking is a treat again!

I would recommend this stove to anyone. Super fast cooking, not hard to keep clean, makes me want to cook everyday! While it is a bit expensive, it could well pay for itself just because we don't eat out nearly as often. I wouldn't trade it for any of the other more expensive brands I have looked at.

I am not the only one to experience electronic burner ignition problems. There is constant clicking from all burners until the lit burner properly heats up. Boiling a large pot of water can drive you insane. I've contacted Electrolux and have gone online to no avail. Did I hear they discontinued this model? Was this problem why?
It's a lot of money for a stove with this bug but it looks good...
