Rated 4 out of 5 by AZwino Great value
This wine cooler is a great value. It is built well and looks great. The wooden racks are a great touch over many other comprable units. The only issue with this unit is the compressor is rather loud; louder than my refrigerator. It must be a rather cheap compressor; about as loud as some of the cheap mini-fridge units in hotels. As long as noise is not an issue, it's a great value

Rated 3 out of 5 Did not work and then trouble fixing it
I bought the unit and 3 days later it stopped working. After the repairman came out, they waited on a part for 2 months. Finally, Madison/Danby agreed to send a replacement. They have not picked up the defective one yet as they expect me to wrap and box it.

Rated 3 out of 5 Good Middle of the Road Wine Fridge
This is a good entry level wine refrigerator that holds a good volume of bottles. The double pane glass doors allow you to clearly see your stock and the cool blue LED lights up top give their appearance a boost. Unfortunately, the doors and the refrigerators are encased in plastic, plastic and more plastic - including the "platinum" trim around the doors.
Unfortunately, the compressor can occasionally be very loud and as often as it runs the temperature display is often 8-10 degrees lower than the actual temperature. The only way to control the temperature is to set it 10 degrees lower than you really want it.
I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend this product to a friend, but this is definitely not a top-of-the-line wine refrigerator.
