This dryer was a great buy. I research a few 120v dryers. I live in a private house apartment and the only 240v outlet is for my air conditioner. I have a whirlpool front loading 120v washing machine model# LHW0050PQ4 which was also a great buy if you are looking for a machine to pair with the GE Spacemeker dryer. It dries comforters, towels, jeans, bedsheets, etc perfectly. Before, I use to wash and take my clothes to be dried at the laundry mat. They never came out of the dryer smelling as clean as when you have your own dryer. I would never go back to that. So, if you are looking to do laundry in the comfort of your home or apartment, then I recommend purchasing this dryer. You will not be disappointed. Furthermore, I purchased a window vent to vent the dryer. Just do a search on the internet for that. I also purchased a pedestal model# LAB00560PQ to raise the dryer a foot, so I could take the clothes out and not have them fall onto the floor. I would surly recommend this to a friend without hesitation. Happy drying.

Not only does this machine fit below my counter, and work off of a standard wall outlet, it is quiet, has several settings including an automatic drying setting. This allows you to dry items to your preferance, avoiding over-drying while saving energy. The one drawback is the appearance and the lack of color options. Mine is behind another cabinet door, so most of the time I do not see it. Otherwise, I would not have purchased this item.

Takes over an hour to dry two bath towels. Seems to have a characteristic of knotting up sheets into a ball further delaying drying.

I live in a condo where there is not a 240v connection. I have used this dryer for a week. It is not the most powerful and it takes longer than a regular 240v dryer but it does the job. I would recommend this product. Do some shopping around I found differences up to a 100 dollars I finally bought it at a big retail house to save the delivery
