We bought this stove for a very small solar cabin in the mountains and absolutely love it! I was worried about the appearance after reading several reviews that said the finish looked brown and the metal seemed flimsy, but we think It's a great looking stove and it looks great next to our stainless steel colored undercounter fridge. The stove looks high end - especially the stovetop grates (look similar to a Viking) and I love how easy to clean it is. Terrific oven that looks great, cooks great and the size is perfect for small spaces!!

The oven fits perfectly in a very tight spot, and looks quite attractive. I have not used it since it is in a rental apartment. The tenant seems quite satisfied. However, after about 8 months, he just reported that the temperature setting inside the oven is about 75 degrees too high (he used a high-end thermometer to measure). Fortunately, it's under the 18 month warranty, and Danby customer service referred me to a local service provider.

cancungirl color is a little "dark"
I love this range and would purchase it again. It is a bit darker and a little tanish grey in color, but matches just fine with my new stainless refrigerator a few feet away. However, if you want to install a microwave over it, choose a black one. I bought a stainless LG and it looks VERY light compared to the stove. After the fact, a designer told me I should have chosen a black microwave to match the black stove accents...they were right...too late for me. The stove is really fabulous and a GREAT value. Sorry the photo is sideways...
