Tomorrow I will buy a new microwave because mine is broken AGAIN. I will never buy a Dacor product again after this experience.

Mfg March 2001 Installation wityhin 6 months. Serviced out of warranty 3 times at a ridiculously high cost. The fourth time was to be a magnitron Tube at a 400.00 cost with service. Forget it. Never again. I've had microwave oven on the counter for years that cost 140.00 that never needed service.. My entire kitchen is Dacor I'm again in need of repairing the oven 3rd time and I've had the stove oven serviced. A kitchen to remember or want to forget.

Terrible microwave. After 1 year, can only use the unit without the trim kit. When the trim kit is installed, the microwave stops working. I have to pull the trim , unplug and re-plug it back in to get it to work again. If I install the trim kit, it again stop working.

I had my microwave for aproximately 5 years. Just went out of extended warranty. Repair service said it was drawing too much amperage. Not sure how long that was going on because we called based on the control panel going out. I was told repairs would be over 400 and better to just replace. I guess that I was just expecting more from a higher end Microwave. That will teach me to buy based on name! Because I have the trim kit, I am reluctantly going to purchase the same microwave to simplify the project. Don't buy this microwave, for 1/2 the price you can buy something that may last as long. I was hoping to get a little more time out of this.
