We bought this unit in 2008 and put it in our newly remodeled kitchen. It worked fairly well for 3+ years and looked beautiful.... then it stopped cooling.
The repairman who worked on it said the unit was made in China and the wiring was opposite of what we use here (hot wire was white instead of black!) making it difficult to work on. Turns out it needs a new mother board, and will cost $500 for the part and additional $$$ for labor. We decided not to invest over 50% of the purchase price in a unit with wiring problems.
Too bad, I loved the dual wine/ beverage cooling aspect, maybe its too much to expect of an appliance.

Clients loved the fridge, only down side so far is that their kid loves the blue light when it is opened. So they have to keep it locked all the time. But it works great and exactly what they wanted.

I had to skimp cash wise a little in this area on my renovation to make sure I could get the rest of the kitchen appliances I wanted. This was a lot cheaper than the higher-end models I was originally planning on going with, and it matches my kitchen set. Only negative thing I've noticed is that I had a friend bring an absurdly large bottle and I couldn't get it to fit. Not really that big of a deal for me, because I live in the beer side but I thought y'all might want to know.

Bought the Danby Built In Beverage Center DBC2760BLS cooler in Dec 08 for our newly renovated kitchen.
Performance: Had to call Dealer for service 4 times over the course of 2 years. The unit never could keep beverages cold. The lowest setting is 39 degrees F., but the temperature would consitently be 48-58 degrees F.
Product Support: The fan motor failed after 2yr and 1 month. Even after showing Danby the poor maintenance record, they refused to honor the 2 yr warranty. Terrible support. I will not be buying another product from Danby.
Appearance: This is the ONLY good quality with the unit. While stylish, it's an awfully expensive appliance to have in your kitchen if it doesn't work properly.
