This is a great little refrigerator for my purposes. It had to be under-the-counter at the office to replace one that died. I was always defrosting the old one and the freezer compartment never really was used. The great thing about this unit is that it has no freezer compartment and never needs defrosting.

I purchased a DAR440BL. It arrived just fine (a small dent, but nothing that would interfere with operation). I plugged it in - it wouldn't work at all; however, the interior light worked. I played with it for an hour - it's a fridge .... not complicated. I registered the product. I tried for about a month to get it repaired under warranty - the company gave me lip service, but, no repair. Conclusion: the warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Don't buy the extended warranty - a waste of money. If it runs when you get it - great! If it quits during warranty ... if my experience is any predictor you have no chance.

Easy to clean, doesn't make any noise, spacious and we welcome that there's no need for maintenance given the lack of freezer (ice-cubes).
