New features unique LED light columns and energy-saving LED lighting in the freezer compartment and Soft Close door system technology (used by high-end cabinet manufacturers). Liebherr is the only refrigeration brand in North America that has achieved ENERGY STAR ratings in 100% of its indoor refrigeration and comply to all new standards introduced in April 2008!
Liebherr's 24" refrigerator and freezer has the freedom of freestanding styling and the benefits of cabinet-depth design. The doors will not impede the kitchen traffic area and they offer zero clearance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by happy Love the Liebherr
It's beautiful, keeps food really fresh. I went away and left a packet of blueberries in the fridge - came back 10 days later and they were still fresh.
I love that it is both small and tall - so far no complaints. We are just 2 people and for us it's great.
It is expensive but it is so much better than any fridge I've ever had.

Looks great, but vegetables freeze in the vegetable door even when the unit is set to the correct termperature.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Canaan Liebherr 24" Refrigerator
First - its fabulously expensive. But if price in not the main criterion, it is a great refrigerator. The look is fantastic; sleek, modern, a piece of artwork as much as an appliance. The interior lighting is unlike anything you have ever experienced, and it works as good as it looks. The cooling and freezing functions are easily at least comparable to the Sub-Zero in my vacation property. If Sub-Zero had an option that would have fit in the space I had available, I would have gone that route and never learned about Liebherr. That would have been my loss.

We couldn't be more pleased with our fridge! We lived with a GE mini-fridge for one year while we worked on our house/kitchen, looking at every fridge on the market that would fit in our tiny kitchen. There were actually surprisingly few possibilities (all expensive) to consider and all but the Liebherr had fairly consistently bad reviews (noisy, breaks down frequently, cheaply made, cheap appearance, etc, etc.). Many seemed to be described as Liebherr knockoffs. We finally settled on the Liebherr and find that despite excellent reviews and high expectations, the unit has outperformed. It is beautifully made, sleek and CONTEMPORARY design, ergonomic interior which holds more than you would think considering its modest size (most gigantic American fridges seem designed to wastefully provide excessive storage space for stuff you don't feel like throwing away but will never eat). The unit is exceptionally quite, includes clever features (uses heat waste from the condenser to evaporate internal condensation), an internal fan constantly circulates out stale air, maintains temperature in both freezer and fridge with no variance (also sets very easily), etc, etc. I could go on. It's an excellent fridge, well worth the money and the only fridge to buy (this model anyway) if kitchen space is limiting and you can afford it.
