This refrigerator not only works well it adds a certain 'hip' factor to a 400 sq. ' studio apartment. Beautiful design complements a very quiet motor. The tall refrigerator is an elegant piece with an amazing amount of room inside - both in the freezer below and the refrigerator itself. Wonderful addition!

Rated 5 out of 5 Love it!
My old refrigerator came with the house, and it was too large for my needs.
Overall:
I love this refrigerator! As I was reading reviews before making my purchase, I started getting nervous about how noisy it could be... it turns out this fridge is nearly silent. Way Way quieter than the unit it replaced. No clunking as the compressor(s) stops, just a little more than a hum that can only be heard when in the kitchen.
Packaging:
The packaging was great and my unit arrived undamaged. The packaging is mainly styrofoam and it does a good job of protecting the fridge. There is a hefty foam tray that the unit is sitting in, so if you do the unpacking yourself, a helper will be useful. (I was able to do it by myself)
Note that you will need to clean it out before you start setting it up and using it.
Setup:
The instructions don't fully describe all the accessories that are included. There is a tall two-part "box" that I am clueless about. :) I have no need for the wine rack, so I removed it, which gave me a bit more flexibility in placing the shelves at appropriate heights. Plan to spend a little time adjusting the shelves and door accessories, as it will get harder to move things around after you fill the fridge.
Freezer:
The freezer space is basically three drawers. The top two are larger than the third one at the very bottom. I wish that Summit had done away with the third one, as that space is not very useful. It is not a full drawer and doesn't slide out far enough to easily put something inside.
The freezer thermometer is in Celcius! Shortly after turning on the unit, I was amazed that the freezer thermometer showed it was around -20 degrees! (Actually, nearly 0 Farenheit.)
Efficient:
It's been a month and a half - my electric bill has dropped since I switched to this fridge. I don't know how much this new unit contributed, but I'm sure it is helping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DeFroster Good Purchase
After our old 27 cu ft fridge died, we wanted a smaller refrigerator as we are now empty-nesters. This Summit fit our needs very well. We have had it 2 weeks now, and it is everything we needed in a fridge. Madison delivered the unit within the time they told us. The nice delivery team even brought it inside the house and unboxed it for us.
Although some people don't like the fact that one has to tug to open the door, I like this featurel It seems like the fridge is making a vacuum seal to keep in the cold. And although some owners have complained about loudness, I have not found the sound level to be a problem.
The only reasons I did not give the Summit 4 stars are 1) the doors could be easier to reverse (we wanted the handles on the right side; they came on the left, and 2) this unit is not Energy Star eligible. Other than that we are delighted with our purchase and pleased with the AJMadison purchase experience.

Lots of space for a frig that is less than 2 feet wide. Great value and this frig is counter depth, which usually costs much more.
