Sanyo's Ductless Split Air Conditioner & Heat Pump products offer wide versatility in solving your cooling and heating requirements. The Indoor unit (evaporator) is mounted inside the room, enclosed in a handsome space saving cabinet. It is connected to the outdoor unit (condenser) via refrigerant lines & inter-unit wiring through a 3-1/2" opening in the wall. Since no ductwork is required, installation is simple, fast & efficient. There is no need to use up window space or cut large openings in existing walls, which could undermine the integrity of your structure, and even pose security risks. Since the Rotary compressor is located in the outdoor unit, compressor operating noise is virtually eliminated from the indoor. The indoor unit has been uniquely designed to provide Whisper Quiet operation while delivering comfort throughout the room(s). In addition, rotary compressors provide efficient, powerful cooling at the lowest noise levels in the industry.

The multi-system type allows a single outdoor unit to be connected to 2 to 4 indoor units. It also solves the problem of limited installation space and does not clutter the exterior of your home.

Combinations of Connectable Indoor Units

The combinations of the indoor units are solely of those units which can be operated concurrently. In addition, other combinations of indoor units are possible provided that the following conditions are satisfied.

Conditions:

• At least two or more indoor units must be connected to the multi outdoor unit. It is not acceptable for only one indoor unit to be connected.
  
• The total rated cooling capacity of the indoor units to be connected must be no more than 130% of the rated cooling capacity of the outdoor unit.
  
• In this case, all the indoor units must not be operated concurrently under any circumstances. Otherwise, the air conditioner may not run properly and trouble may occur.

Important
It is not possible to connect an outdoor unit to only a single indoor unit. If operated with only ONE indoor unit installed, the returning refrigerant to the compressor may cause a malfunction.

Installation & Warranty Info AJ Madison recommends the installation of a Ductless Split System to be done by a trained and qualified HVAC technician with the proper knowledge and background. A trained technician will be able to judge the best location for the air handling (evaporator) unit and also the correct size for the area it has to cool. Should you experience an issue during the installation or the initial startup of the unit please do not contact the manufacturer. You should have the technician that installed the units contact either AJ Madison or the manufacturer. We cannot accept any service or warranty calls from anybody but a licensed HVAC technician. We have full technical support team available to help you throughout the installation process.

AJ Madison, Inc. cannot be held liable for improper installation and operation of any product purchased from our company. Should a warranty issue arise where parts will need to be replaced, an installation receipt will be required along with your AJ Madison sales receipt. Failure to provide a receipt or invoice may result in the warranty not being honored.

Note: Warranties on mini split air conditioners only include parts and do not include labor. The licensed HVAC Technician who installs your air conditioner should always provide you with a labor warranty (preferably for a full year to compliment the manufacturers' parts warranty).
