Like most searching for expensive ranges, I did my homework. Narrowed down to Wolf 304, Bluestar and this. All are awesome of course, but the Capital just seemed the most fitting. Three little kids in the house meant safety was key. The outside of the oven is as cool on as it is off. Burners are quite seriously without equal. The immediacy of heat and coverage is just astounding. Wok grate that you can buy just emphasizes the power this has. Make sure you have proper venting/a great hood. It is a Ferrari in fit and finish, but one that fits in your kitchen. Awesome broiler -> awesome steaks!

Long story short-I wanted the absolute best. I shopped around for a LONG time. I compared them ALL!!! If you buy this range you will be a proud owner like me, if you buy a different range you will be sorry. I am a retired profesional chef. This range is better than any I have ever used. This range will save you time and cooks food a lot different than electric ranges. Better color and flavor on food. I am SO happy that I bought this range. You will not be disappointed, trust me!

I looked at a lot of professional ranges and for the price this baby is made like a tank and looks great in my kitchen, much nicer finish than blue star. Cooking control is excellent from an awesome sear to the gentlest simmer. If you want a serious very well designed range you can't go wrong with a culinarian.
