The refrigerator is great, but don't buy one if you need a dependable ice maker. We have had the appliance about two years and have had the ice maker serviced at least 15 times. The manufacturer redesigned the ice maker for this unit and replaced it and it still stops working at whim. Sometimes it starts again in a few days, often not. Then I have to call the distributor who then authorizes service with a local repairman who then calls me to schedule. It is usually a week to ten days before this procedure completes. The distributor has told me that the unit is not defective and subject to replacement because the refrigerator works -- the ice maker is the problem. The serviceman told me he is always servicing the ice makers. So don't buy one if you like icey drinks. It makes me sick to think that I paid 6,loo for such a lousy product.
