It works like a dream. I once bought a Gaggenau steam bake oven because I saw it in Paris. I paid $4,5000. That was years ago, but this one works just as good. Plus, you have the bonus of it being a microwave.
I bake potatoes in this, setting it for 10 minutes microwave, then 10 minutes bake. Perfect baked potatoes in 20 minutes!
I have also steam baked a roast chick on the bottom rack and steam roasted veggies on the stop rack, and they all come out tasting amazing.

Okay. We wanted a microwave and a convection oven. We found both in this model. I dont like microwaves on countertops. So, it was a requirement that it fit inside a cabinet. Even though I knew the dimensions before and after purchasing, I was still surprised how big and heavy this actually was. It barely fit in a 24" wide cabinet. Actually, I had to remove the back panel for it to fit though I think this was the right decision for ventilation purposes too.
It cooks like a dream. I first used it to Convection/Microwave/Steam cook vegetables for dinner. I used the Auto Sensor setting and it took about 10 minutes. The veggies came out just right. Since that time, I have used every setting except for the convection only setting. I am satisfied. What I like most, the food is evenly cooked throughout. What I like least, there are no shortcut options for cooking. One has to cycle through each step for the correct setting. Ugh.
