We purchased this unit for light commercial use in Feb. 2011 and purchased the extended warranty for commercial use. One year later, the washer broke and they refused to honor the warranty because it was in commercial use! Now, 18 months after purchase, the dryer is broken. Repairs cost us an additional $1100 in the first two years. Our residential units that we have used for the previous 5 years lasted longer and cost half as much. Save your money.

After a lot of Internet research trying to find the best washer dryer combo for my daughter 's townhouse which has a microscopic place for the washer/dryer I bought this speed queen ate50 product which was pretty expensive compared to others but it had the biggest capacity for the size and the most juice for the dryer so that my daughter wouldn't have to run the thing for 8 hours to dry one towel like the old product she had. So far the speed queen has performed amazingly well and the dryer drys a full load very fast.
