My wife and I bought this dryer because we dont have any children, hence not a lot of laundry to do, and we wanted our washer and dryer to fit under the counters in our new kitchen, so the size of the units worked well. We liked the design and the look and felt the ariston units would fit our stainless steel appliance look throughout the kitchen. The ariston models were small enough in height to allow all of our counters to have a uniform height. Our kitchen remodel was completed on December 24th 2008. We have had the ariston dryer in operation for 10 days. The dryer stopped tumbling. Very dissapointing to have the device stop working within 10 days of operation. Consider how close you live to a qualified repair center if you buy ariston products - wish I had. We live in the Tidewater Area of Virginia. Called Airiston customer care and was contacted shortly after leaving a message. The only availabe repair organization was an RV (Recreational Vehicle) outfit in the Virginia Beach Area. Had to remove the unit and drive it to the RV center, since the repair center does not offer in home repair. Very dissapointed in this device

I will say that while in operation it was quiet and did a good job of drying the clothes.
The washer is currently working well, looks great, however it moves excessively during spin cycle operation.
