Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks elegant and contemporary I purchased this hood in stainless steel with a recirculating vent, and it looks very good in my elegant contemporary kitchen. It is a tad noisy, but is the best looking hood I found for the price. It actually looks better and different yet understated with the recirculating vent! I am very happy with my choice. My only complaint is that it does not come with the bulbs. The black controls under it look ugly, but it is hidden from view. I highly recommend it. Regarding whether it absorbs grease, I don't cook much so haven't felt the need to use it much. 9/30/10
