"I Found It!"
When Fred Wardell founded Eureka in 1909, he had a hunch that it would be known for innovative products, so he named his company after an exclamation of great discovery. "Eureka" is Greek for "I found it" and history credits the Greek physicist Archimedes for making the phrase famous when he took a dip in his tub, discovered the theory of water displacement, and shouted "Eureka!"
Today, Eureka is part of the Electrolux family of home care products, concentrating on vacuum cleaners and other home and commercial cleaning products. They manufacture and distribute more than 130 different models. Available at AJ Madison.
