For as expensive as this stove is, you'd think that the temperature gauge on the over door would be functional, not decorative. You'd think that the temperature would run true to the setting, and not about 15 degrees hot. You'd think that the top would be easier to clean and not require a 30 minute clean/buff every time someone makes eggs.... sigh. We certainly get a lot of compliments on it when guests come over, but I would have gone a different route had I known how it functions.
