Very nice looking grill, very heavy as compared to the $300-$400 cheaper competitors. You definitely want to take the stainless steel option (grates) as it is well worth the extra $$ in my opinion. Also buy the grill cover unless you store it in a weather-safe area. Starts every time, cooks perfectly, and I recommend highly!

I have used the grill maybe six times and it has performed very well.
I wish Weber would offer an LPG(non small tank) set up for folks that live in communities where natural gas is not an option.I have a 500 gallon tank and have installed a quick disconnect line to the grill.I called Weber and they claimed hooking up to that would void the warranty.I did it anyway and it works fine.
The heat deflectors appear to be porcelain?If they are then they won't last long.

When it comes not bying a new toys I do a ton of research up front. Everything I took in indicated that the Charbroil, etc grills gathered in front of the box stores last 2 or 3 seasons then die. The word on Weber is that they last. When unpacking the box I was impressed with the heafty of the materials and the fabrication of the product. Solid, heavy parts. After having it up an using it a month, it was shocking the next time I was in a box store to lifted the shaky, sloppy lid on one of those $400 grills. It was like it was made of aluminum foil! This Weber performs great! Super quick heat up- up to 400 degrees in no time. Eberything cooks wel well and evenly. I am glad I got the special edition with stainless steel interior parts. Grate clean up is easy and they will last. I got the special edition version from AJ Madison for the same price I would have gotten the regular version locally. Fast delivery and great service. This was a great choice and look forward to using it for years to come. Thank you Weber for switching to front conrols! I have my grill placed in small outcropping on my deck and I assembled it without the side tables. I was not able to buy a Weber before when they had the side table controls. I could not be happier.
