Rated 2 out of 5 by Amazingly loud for the price We ended up with this refrigerator because it was the only one with zero clearance hinges. Started with a Subzero which matches or big fridge, but it wouldn't work in the cabinet. For $1200 I expected this thing to be whisper quiet - man was I disappointed!!! Had the tech out twice to check it (once because the temp sensor quit working) - he said that it's only making the noise that it should. I have a $100 GE small fridge in the garage. If it fit in this space, I would swap them. The GE generates about 1/3 the noise that the Marvel does. It's also much louder than our full size Subzero refrigerator with dual freezers! If I was doing it over, I would change the installation before buying this fridge again. 10/19/08
