Rated 4 out of 5 by well crafted product I wanted this look and the convenience to set small items on top of the hood while cooking. Given that hoods of this shape are not ideal for ventilation, this one works fairly well. Fan needs to be on high to effectively exhaust steam from a rolling boil. The installation manual could be more helpful, but any accomplished contractor will find it straightforward. I would recommend this product to anyone who really loves the design (otherwise not), just know that the design is inherently challenged to do what you're buying it for. 12/10/08
