They have outlasted every other product I have owned, the only reason I purchased another Broen range hood is because I bought new appliances and my old one did not match anymore. It is still working and in good condition! 1/3/12

It's a basic model but I was surprised to find that you could see light coming through the bend at the front on each side along the seams when the light is on. I had never seen that before in a previous product. Other than that sometimes the fan force is not enough to open the outside vent hood door, even though there is nothing preventing it, if it doesnt the sound of the air flow is much less and smoke begins to build in the house. 2/12/09
