Marvel's growth throughout the years has always been lifestyle-driven, and the company has pioneered many important firsts on its path to becoming a major industry leader in the luxury refrigeration market. Marvel was the first to introduce a high-end undercounter wine storage model, and the first to re-define luxury refrigeration with its breakthrough introduction of the all-black interior - offering homeowners the opportunity to design refrigeration into any room in the home.

Today, Marvel is proud to use its innovative history to provide an unwavering commitment to its customers. Known for uncompromised quality, breathtaking array of design choices, and sheer luxury performance, Marvel - and Marvel products - remain at the forefront of the industry, a legacy that started with a simple ice box.

Product Reviews
Rated 1.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 Not Happy Started out great. While in warranty, the upper verticle "stainless" plate started corroding so Marvel replaced it (after lots of questioning re: what we cleaned it with - we hadn't since there was no need). Now at 1 1/2 years old, the sensor that tells it the bin is full doesn't work. It keeps making ice, then all pours out when you open the door. Poor quality for such an expensive machine!! Pricey repair coming. 5/19/10
Rated 1 out of 5 Would not buy again i bought this unit about 5 years ago. The product came with faulty wiring so when you turned it on for ice production the cleaning feature started. Had to have technician re-wire. After getting it to work it took nearly 3 days to produce a full bin of ice :( Now five years later and after replacing compressor, dryer, bin sensor, cold plate, cutting grid, and water pump (all under extended warranty), the unit is still very slow to produce and ice is always wet, like a rainforest inside unit. If i try to fill a cooler and empty the bin it simply takes too long to refill the bin. Bad value, as most of these residential ice-makers are. 9/28/10
Rated 3 out of 5 by Caveat Emptor We are now on our second Marvel icemaker in 10 years. The first one had the compressor fail after eight years, which seems absurd given that compressor technology hasn't changed in almost 100 years. It was cheaper to buy a new unit than repair the old one, so we bit the bullet and bought a new model. Six months into our ownership of the new Marvel, we experienced fan noise, as the fan blades were hitting another part of the unit. The "repair" consisted of pulling the fan blade back on the shaft, since it is held in place by nothing more than the friction of the plastic blades on the metal shaft. Another six months later, same problem and same "repair." Marvel seems to have cut corners in using a cheap Panasonic fan assembly in a very expensive appliance. A better designed fan would have a set-screw or other way to keep the blade from rotating on the shaft or moving forward or backward; this has neither. It is very disappointing to spend over $2,000 for a fancy appliance that was built using cheap components that are very hard to access. 1/20/14
Rated 1 out of 5 Always Broken Broke down within 2 days of being installed. Taken in for warranty work (which took several months). Get back, works long enough for warranty to expire (warranty period conveniently included the 3 months it was sitting at the repair shop). After warranty expired, fill sensor went out, and it proceeded to flood the basement (it's installed in my downstairs bar). This is an expensive ice maker that I bought to go with the expensive LED lit Marvel fridge. The fridge is awesome. This ice maker is an over priced piece of scrap metal. 10/21/15
